CEO
Specialized in high precision manufacturing in aerospace. Focused on technology to enable world class customer service at unprecedented scale.
Ben is no stranger to startups, and he loves pressure.
This is his 4th rodeo.
His latest venture is a passion project resurrecting film processing and development.
Frustrated at inconsistency in delivery, processing quality, and hundreds of friends asking him to do their film, it was time.
In Dec 2024, The gloves came off and Velocity Film Lab was born, a film processing company that uses AI to improve film processing quality, employee experience and customer satisfaction, without betraying the artistic integrity that is at the soul of the film medium.
After a geometric explosion in growth, Ben needed help collecting film from all corners of his state.
Enter Velocity Labs.
After years of experience handling industrial processes, Ben understands aerospace manufacturing is an art of its own.
He wants to bring the same winning formula Apple uses to integrate the best aspects of emerging technologies to bring the art of aerospace to the modern day.
Meeting requirements to produce high quality components at scale for the future.

At Apple, worked on the manufacturing processes for the iPhone 15 Pro Display modules. Leveraged historical data to implement SPC and control limits on processes.
Conducted characterization, correlation, and GRR studies to qualify IQC/OQC metrology equipment. I led conversations with vendors to aid in root cause investigations.
Developed an automated data pipeline using Python to pull vendor data, compile, and report through tableau to support quick root cause investigations.

Supported NPI line bringup by conducting DOEs to characterize the upper and lower bounds of equipment performance. Conducted GRR to ensure equipment is repeatable and reproducible.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams—including quality, controls, equipment, and design engineers—to create PFMEA documentation, mitigating process variation and assessing design risks. Additionally, I provided DFM feedback to design engineers based on field data to help define preliminary specifications.
